Ron Stubbs in an experienced horse trainer who is highly respected by his peers and racing industry participants. He has trained over 200 winners which includes 3 Albury Cups, the 2023-24 SDRA Country Championships Qualifiers and plenty of Victorian/New South Wales metropolitan triumphs. More recently Ron secured his 5th Albury Flat Knacker Sprint in succession with Sparring and another Albury Cup with Bianco Vilano.

Ron Stubbs Racing is renowned for matching motors at all levels of racing, and the master horseman showcased his talent again on the big stage. It was the Albury Cup - Flat Knacker double as the stable stalwarts BIANCO VILANO and SPARRING stepped up again. Both were ridden perfectly by Tyler Schiller and Jason Lyon and a big shout out to our hard working team. Thats 5 straight Flat Knackers for the stable !

Tessarion powers home at Albury

It was a perfectly timed ride by Cory Parish who unleashed TESSARION down the crown of the track for a memorable win. The placement was perfect as she dropped back to C1 company and the Ron Stubbs polish was superior.

Rumours let loose at Wangaratta

It was a clinical performance from Rumours Abound today in the seventh event at Wangaratta, jumping, finding the front one wide, and never saw rump enroute to a 3L victory. Ella Bent had a tricky task but handled it superbly, taking luck out of the equation, sending her forward and from there it was an easy watch, the 6YO proving a class above going to the line only under slight urgings to make it six wins from 21 starts. Congratulations to all involved
